Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-09-24. This describes what curio.luxe (www.curio.luxe, operated by AVXIM ILLINOIS INC) collects and why.

What we collect

Site usage. Pages viewed, the pieces clicked, and searches typed, recorded against a random visitor identifier so the concierge and the ranking can learn what visitors look at. We use privacy-first analytics from our hosting provider (Vercel Web Analytics), which does not use cookies and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics runs in consent mode, with ad-related storage always off. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it sets no cookie and receives only anonymous, cookieless signals until you accept analytics cookies; elsewhere its analytics cookie is set unless you decline optional cookies. Either way you can change your choice at any time from "Manage cookies" in the footer.

An account, if you create one. Your name, e-mail address and a password hash, kept so you can sign in and keep saved pieces and searches. Passwords are stored hashed, never in clear text.

Alerts, if you ask for them. An e-mail address and the price drop, saved search or newsletter you asked for. Every alert e-mail carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and keep your bag. Any non-essential analytics runs only with your consent, which you can change from "Manage cookies" in the footer.

What we do not collect

We never take payment details and never place an order. When you choose a piece we send you to the retailer's or brand's own site; their privacy policy applies from then on.

Affiliate links

Outbound links carry an identifier that tells the retailer or its affiliate network the click came from curio.luxe, so a commission can be attributed. It does not identify you to us.

Who we share with

Our hosting and database providers, who process data on our behalf; the retailers and affiliate networks, only through the click identifier described above; and no one else. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and your rights

Usage data is kept in aggregate for ranking; account data for as long as the account exists; alert addresses until you unsubscribe. You can ask for access, correction or deletion at affiliates@curioluxe.net. Residents of the EU/UK and California have the rights those laws provide; write to the same address.
