Partner terms

Effective 2026-09-26. These terms are offered by AVXIM ILLINOIS INC ("curio.luxe", "we", "us"), which operates www.curio.luxe.

curio.luxe is an independent, owner-operated small business. Every partner who trusts us with their name, their products and their customers is someone we are grateful for — and we try to earn that trust every day, not assume it. We would rather under-promise and over-deliver than the other way round. These terms say plainly what we will do for you, what we hope you will do for us, and how we will sort things out if anything goes wrong. We wrote them to be fair to both sides, because a partnership that is only good for one side does not last.

1. Our welcome: 90 days on us

For the first 90 days of a new partnership, we ask for nothing beyond your programme's own standard terms:

• No placement fees. No charge for listing your products, your partner page at https://www.curio.luxe/offers/<your-name>, featured placement, a page per promotion, blog posts or our social picks.
• No extra asks. We will not ask for a higher commission tier, a bonus, a flat fee or exclusivity during the 90 days. Commission on sales is paid only as your programme's standard terms already provide.
• No obligation to stay. You may end the partnership at any time during or after the 90 days (section 8).

The 90 days start on the earlier of the day your programme approves curio.luxe or the day we first list one of your promotions. Afterwards, nothing changes unless we both agree in writing: we will never start charging you without your express written agreement.

2. What we commit to

• Your promotions, only while you run them. We show a promotion only while your own site shows it, and take it down when it ends there or on its last day, whichever is first.
• Your programme's rules. We follow your programme's terms and your brand guidelines: no bidding on your brand's keywords, no cookie stuffing, no incentivised clicks, and no code published beyond what your programme allows.
• Honest disclosure. Every page and post that carries your link says it is an affiliate link.
• Accurate listings. Prices, pictures and links come from your own pages and are re-checked on a schedule. If you tell us something is wrong, we correct or remove it promptly after your written notice.
• Clean tracking. Every link carries our tag (curio.luxe) in your network's sub-ID field or as utm_source; we never alter your tracking otherwise.
• Respect for your site. Our crawler names itself, obeys robots.txt and never works around a block.

3. What we ask of you

We ask for the same good faith we offer:

• Fair notice. Please give us reasonable written notice — we ask for at least 30 days where your programme allows it — before closing your programme to us, lowering commission rates or changing attribution rules, so we can update our pages and our readers are never misled.
• Earned commission is honoured. Commission on qualifying sales tracked before any notice of termination or change remains payable under the terms in force when the sale was made.
• Reasons for reversals. If a tracked sale is declined or reversed, please give the reason your programme's terms allow (for example a return, a cancellation or suspected fraud), so we can learn from it or raise it through your network's process.
• Promotions honoured as advertised. Offers, codes and prices you send us should be ones you will honour for the dates you give.
• Materials you may share. You confirm you have the right to let us use the names, marks, pictures and text you provide or publish for your products.

4. Your materials

While we are partners, you grant curio.luxe a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use your names, trademarks, product pictures, prices and descriptions solely to promote your products on our site, our social channels and our e-mails, in line with your brand guidelines. You keep all ownership. The licence ends when the partnership ends; we then remove your materials within a reasonable time, normally within 10 business days, except copies in archives or backups that are not publicly shown.

5. Independence and fairness

We are independent contractors. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, joint-venture or franchise relationship, and neither of us may bind the other. The partnership is not exclusive: you may work with other publishers, and we may feature other brands, including your competitors. We treat every partner with the same courtesy and the same rules, whatever their size.

6. Confidential information

Non-public information either of us shares — commission rates, performance data, plans, codes not yet public — is used only for our partnership and not disclosed to others, except where the law requires it or the information has become public through no fault of the one who received it.

7. Responsibility and limits

Each side answers for its own acts. You are responsible for your products, their pricing, delivery, returns and warranties, for honouring the promotions you publish, and for the materials you provide; you agree to defend and indemnify AVXIM ILLINOIS INC against third-party claims arising from them. We are responsible for the content we write ourselves and for following your programme's terms, and we agree to defend and indemnify you against third-party claims arising from content we create in breach of these terms.

Limits. To the fullest extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or goodwill. curio.luxe's total liability under these terms is limited to the commission it received from you in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, during the free 90 days, to US$100). curio.luxe is provided "as is": we work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise any level of traffic, clicks or sales. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the partnership

Either of us may end the partnership at any time by written notice (e-mail is enough). When it ends, we take down your listings and promotions within a reasonable time, normally within 5 business days of the notice; commission on qualifying sales tracked before the end remains payable under section 3. Sections 3 (earned commission), 6, 7, 9 and 10 continue after the end.

9. Resolving concerns

If something goes wrong, we ask that we talk first. Either side may send a written notice describing the concern; we will each respond in good faith and try to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, we may agree to non-binding mediation before either of us goes to court. Please raise concerns with us directly before raising them in public, and we will do the same.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved as above will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.

10. How these terms fit with your network

Where you work with us through an affiliate network, the network's publisher agreement and your programme's terms govern tracking, payment and termination between the network, you and us, and they prevail over these terms where the two conflict. These terms apply to everything else in our relationship — and in full where you work with us directly. Where you and AVXIM ILLINOIS INC have signed a separate written agreement, that agreement prevails.

11. General

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the part is applied as far as the law allows. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. Neither side may assign these terms without the other's consent, except to a successor of its whole business. We may update these terms; changes are posted here with a new effective date at least 30 days before they apply, never apply to sales already made, and never end the welcome period of a partner already in it. Notices go by e-mail to the address each side uses for the partnership, and to us at affiliates@curioluxe.net.
